Murphys Law is a Nice Way of Saying "Screw You"
I'm not quite sure if its Murphy's Law, Irony, or just some Omnipotent Forces say "ha ha".
But on my evening of ironies, i have noticed the following thing:
One the one day that you'll have to end up taking the bus home, your Ipod battery will inevitably die. Despite the fact that its always been charged for the past 2 months and any other day, i remembered to charge it every few days.
Also, because its friday, and you decide to wear a fleece sweater and a vest jacket (aka no sleeves) and no scarf, and all you've worn in the last month and a half was a very warm long coat, that will be the day that you have to take a bus home.
Then, after you miss your connecting bus, and you're waiting for a cab, every cab that comes along will inevitably come from the opposite direction. and not just one or two, i counted. all 12 cabs that came along in 25 minutes came from the opposite direction (and across the street).
Then, when a cab does come along the way, a big transit bus will inevitably come along at the exact same time as the cab, and will come and stand right in front of you, blocking you from the cab.
Finally, when you decide that your next bus will be along in a few minutes and you may as well take it home, and you cross the street, the next cab that comes along will come from...... you guessed it, the direction from which you just stood for 25 minutes freezing your ass off in the cold february winds.
what do you think? just a lot of little coincidences, or someone UP THERE, sitting around bored, saying "lets see how much fun we can have tonight?".
