Big Wide World

what a fun couple of days it was. trina and the girls came down, and we got a lot of stuff done, and i was so tired when they left that i actually took a nap. i guess that'll happen when you're not used to being around kids (from 9 to 15 yrs old). but well worth it. we went shopping (for hours), and we saw "charlie and the choc factory" (which was soo fun, we all really liked it), we went to montana for their AMAZING spinach dip appetizer, and we rented a movie ("man of the house"- not something i would have seen myself, but it turned out to be cute), and we went to Caffe Demetre which was awesome. it's mostly a dessert caffe, and OMG the desserts. seriously, ppl, if you have a demetre near you somewhere, GO, actually RUN to the cafe. me and caterina, trina, and cory had waffle desserts (and raquelle had some kind of sundae in a glass). let me just give you a brief description of this thing i had called the "tongue depressor".... it waffle topped with whipped cream, demetre made chocolate ice cream, chunks of brownie, poured with choc syrup, sprayed with dark and white choc shavings. JC. it was so good. anyway, it was a fun two days, and now i'm going to go get a good long nights sleep.
