Epiphany

I've been paying some attention to the lunatics at Westboro Baptist Church and their hatred messages in the name of God. and while i have opinions, i'm not going to write about them b/c i would have to actually state some of the disgusting things that they have to say. i'm not even going to link to them as i don't want any association. And while I can hardly ever give credit to the newsertainment of our society (the word i use for "news" as "entertainment"), i have to give them props- they have come to an unspoken agreement on not reporting much on this "religious" group in fear of giving the group more power. for example, while the group was at the SAG Awards this past weekend, you wouldn't know it from the lack of coverage (so far I have read two blogs with vague reference to it, but nothing more). For that's a VERY positive step.

however, the point of my blog tonight is this:

Hackers have been making things difficult for us for years (and I say this while acknowledging that some of the major developments and the start of the internet is the byproduct of hacker efforts).

I think hackers should unite and gain control of the Westboro website and direct anyone going to their VILE site to a gay porn site.

as for the rest of us, i think we should just start sending emails of gay porn to the church too.

I'm not usually this childish about these issues, but these people honestly make me nauseous and I can't believe that they can go on preaching this filth.
