Mac troubleshooting

This morning i woke up (christmas) and turned on my Mac, only to get a question mark at the startup. few seconds of panic went through me and being fairly new to the mac world i didn't have any idea of what this meant. so, quick web search (using my pc) revealed that this might be a corrupted file or the database couldn't be found. more pleasing of all was that this was not a tragic event, not like the sad mac. so, after i found out what the causes of the problem could be, i went on to the fabulous Apple Support page (click HERE for the link to the actual problem and solution) (it really is quite the difference from microsoft troubleshooting web pages - try to understand their technical explanations are worse then trying to understand the problem), and in a few minutes, i had my mac up and running again.

i have been using a mac for a little over a year now, and obviously, i saw the differences that make macs a pleasure to work with. but i never really had a problem. this morning proved to me EXACTLY why macs are that much superiour to pcs. all in all, my troubleshooting took about 1/2 hour, from diagnosing what the problem was to fixing it. same problem with pc once took me 18 straight hours. thank god for macs. and thanks to the mac support page.

here's a quick example of the difference between the two support webpages:
mac, typing in "startup problem" = clear concise explanations and categories
pc, typing in "startup problem" = convoluted, and chaotic (how did excel issues get in there?)

VERDICT????
MAC CLEARLY THE WINNER
